On September 5, 2022, we launched our first new post after a month-long social media abstinence:

Not visible to the outside world, behind the scenes intensive work was done on the new direction of makellos. Things were questioned, sensors sharpened and further potential identified. The focus was on the essentials: the core of makellos. – the soul of the brand. Now we are back, with new stories, new eyewear designs and new inspiration. In weekly posts we will alternate between the new image campaigns, as well as remarkable details around Japan, the Japanese philosophy and the exciting contrasts of Japanese culture and its subcultures. Of course, it will also include topics related to eyewear. A prominent role will be played by “TOKYO_VIBES”. The sunglasses collection of the coming year will be a limited edition and the antithesis of the minimalist designed spectacle frames: unusual, provocative and shrill! Tokyo, often referred to as the “last stop before the moon”, is the metropolis of contrasts and fascinating contradictions. The vibes of this place are the essence of an extraordinary sunglasses collection that doesn’t seem to be “flawless” at all.
